Working Together: A Proactive Approach to Safety
The department submitted a grant application to the National Education Association. Proposal title: Working Together: A Proactive Approach to Safety. The Working Together Program has been developed to promote safety among faculty and students in the Sociology and Social Work Department at North Carolina A&T State University. In order to accomplish this, faculty as well as students will participate in roundtable discussions and monthly seminars that promote safety. A study group made up of faculty members will review policies and procedures as well as analyze results gathered from faculty and student roundtable discussions. Upon completion of the program, a training curriculum will be developed for the department.
